Brandy Wiegers Wins 2007-08 Chancellor's Achievement Award for Diversity and Community
Congratulations to Brandy Wiegers for receiving the 2007-08 Chancellor's Achievement Award for Diversity and Community.
This award honors achievements that contribute in substantial ways to the development and well-being of our diverse and evolving community and emphasizes among other things:
- Exemplary service that embodies the Principles of Community
- Outstanding efforts toward achieving and/or advancing a diverse and
principled academic community
- Exemplary scholarship having a major impact on community and
diversity
- Exemplary contributions to the success of campus-based outreach
efforts
- Exemplary service to the campus and/or community through active
leadership, etc.
Brandy is the third graduate student in our department to be honored with this award (Momar Dieng and Yvonne Lai were previous recipients).
